Team leader basic course English with e-learning
E-learning and theory exam
BHV.NL's English e-learning consists of 4 training modules and a case study. Each chapter concludes with a practice test in preparation for the theory exam. It’s important that the e-learning is successfully completed three working days before the start of the practical day. This means that 70% of the answers of the theory exam must be correct and all modules of the e-learning should be completed.

Theory that is familiar can perhaps be gone through more quickly, requiring less time than the stated time investment of four hours. This depends on experience and knowledge.
Practical day
The theme of the practical day is practical action. The main goal of a team leader is to lead a team of in-house emergency response officers and to maintain an overview of a situation in which you must act. Therefore, we focus on leadership skills, practicing through a Table-Top exercise and through various exercise scenarios.
After the Basic Team Leader course with e-learning:
- The employee can take the lead during a situation
- The employee has knowledge about the way of leading during an action
- The employee will have an insight in leading and managing during an action
- The employee has shown that they are able to communicate clear and straightforward
- The employee has knowledge about the context within which a team leader acts
