Scenario-aimed training
By training scenario-aimed you bring your knowledge and skills in the field of (company) safety to the next level. You also start working on how and in which situations you apply your knowledge as emergency response officer. You’ll go through the scenario in small groups. By working together as a team, you are interactively working on (company)safety.
Preparation with e-learning
Before the training day you complete an e-learning in our online learning programme Veiligheidsimpuls. This takes a maximum of 30 minutes and then your ERO knowledge will be completely refreshed for the physical training day.
Physical training day
The 1-day ERO refresher training addresses the following themes:
- Providing CPR to a victim, using an AED
- Exploration, use of the walkie-talkie and supervising an evacuation
- Safely extinguishing a fire
- Wound care and bandaging
- Various scenario-exercises through storytelling
Renewed programme starting from September '25
With new scenario-exercises you train for an effective and quick response. We use various working methods and challenging situations. As an ERO you practice in order to respond quickly and focused, also in high-pressure circumstances. This makes sure that you are better prepared in real emergency situations and we develop your problem-solving skills. The focus is on doing instead of on listening. This makes the training even more interactive.
Continue learning after the training day
After the classroom training you keep practicing online through our Veiligheidsimpuls learning platform. You don’t receive al the information at once but gradually start building up knowledge with scenarios and modules of a maximum of 15 minutes. In addition you have access to the knowledge base where you can retrieve important information or step-by-step plans. When working with safety more than once a year you increase your safety awareness and you can act confidently in real emergency situations.
