The safety ambition plan
Your risks + wishes + our knowledge = your customised safety ambition plan
Doing business is not without risk. Where people work, mistakes are sometimes made and accidents occur. As a manager or safety expert, you play an important role in promoting and deciding on safety within your organisation. As a team manager or supervisor, you facilitate safe working practices. Are you aware of the risks within your organisation or team? And is the continuity of your organisation truly guaranteed?
Your own safety ambition plan in just five steps
At BHV.NL, we believe that safe organisations are well-practised organisations. Organisations that understand where risks lie put preventive measures in place. That’s why it’s essential to practice with realistic scenarios and to train based on the risks that are specific to your organisation.
Every year, together we take a look at where you stand and which training sessions and exercises can be scheduled. We evaluate the effectiveness of your emergency response organisation using a performance indicator, and then together we review what the new priorities for the following year should be. Safety is a continuous process, and his way we work together towards your organisation’s safety ambitions.
1
The safety scan
During the intake, we take a look at your current safety situation. Subsequently, we set goals together that we record in the safety ambition plan.
2
The safety ambition plan
The safety ambition plan of your organisation is shaped by risk-oriented thinking. Together we look at the risks, the layout of your company’s emergency response organisation, the various roles and the necessary competences and skills. Based on your safety ambition, we determine an approach for multiple years and every year we look at what’s necessary. That way we work towards a customised safety programme.
3
Educating and risk-oriented training
In addition to the standard basis training programmes in the field of emergency response, we have various unique building stones, modules. With them, we can modularly expand in-company training or compose a customised or risk-aimed programme. By doing so we develop your aimed knowledge and skills that are necessary for your working practice.
4
Practicing as a team
To test whether everything that’s been learned can be applied well in practice, we will start practicing. We work with realistic scenarios that apply to your organisation. Practicing shows whether the emergency response organisation meets the expectations that were set, and whether the emergency procedures work.
5
Annual performance indicator
With our annual performance assessment, we provide a clear insight into the impact that various activities have had on safety awareness and safe working practices within your organisation. Subsequently we work with you to set clear goals for the year ahead as part of your safety ambition plan. That way we constantly improve your organisation's safety policy.
Modular training
Are you not ready to get started with a Safety Ambition Plan yet, but would like your team or organisation to train and practise based on your specific risks? We can help with that too! At BHV.NL, we're constantly moving forward for the best safety solutions. Modular training is an innovation that allows us to provide customised in-company training programmes. Together, we'll setup a training day or half-day around the topics that matter most to your organisation and reflect your specific risks.
Custom incompany programme
The in-company programme is built from individual training modules (building blocks). You only work on the modules that are relevant to your organisation. And that’s different for every organisation!
