Scenario exercises

There are several scenarios you can practise during an evacuation exercise. You can choose from the categories Fire, Evacuation, or a combination of scenarios. To make the evacuation exercise more realistic, you can also choose to include a simulated casualty (role player).

Would you like to practice scenarios outside of an evacuation exercise, then have a look at our Scenario Exercise Workshop.

Fire scenarios

An evacuation is not infrequently linked to a fire. Practicing a fire scenario therefore makes your evacuation drill highly realistic. There are various scenarios that can be used for training, such as fire and/or smoke development in the kitchen, caused by equipment, or in an office space. If you work with hazardous substances, an explosion in a storage area is not unthinkable either. Do you have a specific situation you would like to practice? Feel free to let us know, and we will discuss the options together.
If you do not have the option to carry out a physical fire-extinguishing exercise, our digital fire extinguisher system makes it possible to train at locations where this would normally not or hardly be possible.

Evacuation scenarios

In addition to fire, there are many other reasons why a building may need to be evacuated. A wide range of scenarios can be imagined and therefore practiced: whether it involves an evacuation due to a bomb threat, a gas leak, or a power outage. During an evacuation, two-way radios and/or an evacuation chair may be used. We practice one or more scenarios that are relevant to your organisation.

First Aid/LEH scenarios

If an emergency requires the building to be evacuated, employees or visitors may suffer injuries. These may be caused by the incident itself, but injuries can also occur during the evacuation. For example, if someone falls on the stairs or is injured in another way. In this category, you will practice one or more of the following scenarios using a simulated casualty (role player).

Modular training

Make a scenario exercise part of your annual refresher training. With our modular training approach, we can customise a course entirely to the risks within your organisation. You simply select the topics and training modules that are most relevant to your organisation. This allows you to determine the content of the training yourself, while ensuring it always reflects the day-to-day working environment of your employees.
