Does the content within Veiligheidsimpuls regularly get renewed?
Certainly. The participants who follow the ERO repetition training get to see different content in Veiligheidsimpuls than participants in the basic ERO training. This because we build up the knowledge step by step. Every year the modules and scenarios are renewed.
What is the difference between Veiligheidsimpuls and traditional e-learning?
Veiligheidsimpuls and e-learning are both online learning methods. What makes Veiligheidsimpuls differ from traditional e-learning is that participants can effectively and efficiently learn with Veiligheidsimpuls in a shorter timeframe. In Veiligheidsimpuls we use inspiring learning methods that interchange each other. In addition, with Veiligheidsimpuls participants receive a unique learning path spread over a longer period of time.

Is it mandatory to follow Veiligheidsimpuls? And does it have consequences for the training day if participants have not completed the preparatory modules?
We highly recommend participants to complete the modules. During the training day we assume that everyone has prepared themselves, which favours the efficiency of the training day. However, the participant himself is responsible for going through the material on our platform. We will not check this and therefore during the training day we will not refuse participants who have not completed the modules.
As an organisation, how can I be certain that the ERO officer has the necessary competences?
During the training day, our training coach assesses whether the participant meets the required competences as set out in the Working Conditions Act. Only if this is the case does the participant receive a certificate at the end of the training day. If not then the participant will have to do the training day again. As such, as an organisation you can trust that if the participant has received a certificate, the emergency response officer has all the required competences.
Can an employee receive a certificate or proof of the completed modules in Veiligheidsimpuls?
No, no certificates are granted based on the modules that have been completed in Veiligheidsimpuls. What if an employee quits/gets fired?
Then you do not have to do anything. After nine months, the account on Veiligheidsimpuls automatically expires if the emergency response officer does not participate in the repetition programme. If an emergency response officer leaves the company, then this person retains access until this period has passed.
Can we, as an organisation, also use Veiligheidsimpuls without the training day?
Yes, Veiligheidsimpuls can also be used separately, even without a training day. In this you have the choice of Dutch or English. Do keep in mind that without a training day a certificate cannot be obtained.
